Eastern Penn Security & Technology

Nothing I do is overcomplicated.

I'm Michael. I install and manage computers, Wi-Fi, security cameras, and online security for homes and small offices in Eastern Pennsylvania.

What I do

Monthly IT support

One flat monthly price per person, covering their laptop, phone, and tablet, along with updates, monitoring, and support when something breaks.

Security cameras

Selected for your property, then mounted, wired, and connected to your phone before I leave.

Wi-Fi

Designed around your building and installed for reliable coverage throughout.

Online security

Protection that detects ransomware and isolates the infected computer, along with two-step logins and blocking of known malicious websites.

Backups

Three copies of your data, on two kinds of storage, with one kept off site, so a failed laptop or a flooded basement doesn't become a disaster.

Buying equipment

Tell me what you need, and I'll source the right equipment at business prices and set it up.

Advice

An honest opinion before you spend money. Sometimes the answer is that you don't need anything.

I'll test your family before a scammer does.

With their permission.

Scams work best on people who aren't expecting one. Your family members agree to a test, and sometime in the following month I send them a simulated scam email or text. If they fall for it, nothing bad happens and no passwords are kept. Afterward, we sit down together and I show them what gave it away.

I offer the same test for offices.

How it works

  1. You contact me and tell me what's going on. No technical terms needed.
  2. I explain what the job involves and what it costs, in plain English.
  3. I do the work and show you how everything works. I'm available whenever you need me.

Where I work

Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, Blakeslee, the Lehigh Valley, Allentown, Perkasie, Lansdale, Pottstown, Norristown, King of Prussia, and the towns in between. If you're nearby and unsure, please ask.
